Had fun scrappin' last night...

Had fun scrappin' a little last night and trying to get pages done for my 2009 scrap album.

I started with scrapping our Annual New Years Eve Party at my brothers house. Figured might as well start at the beginning with New Years photos. Then it was time to finally scrap my little Joshie's 10th birthday that was back in February of this year.

Don't believe for one second that I'm almost current on my scrapbooking because I'm NOT!

Just trying to stay pretty current on this years photos while trying to catch up on 2008 & 2007.

My new May layouts for The Scrappin Table design Team

I had a lot of fun using all these new super cute papers and products that The Scrappin' Table has to try and get caught up on this years events. It was nice to finally put a dent into my stack of photos and get some pages done. Being part of the design team over at The Scrappin' Table has really helped me to stay on top of my scrapbooking and gives me a chance to at least be creative once a month. :)

And the Winner is....

This layout is from a contest at CHA, EK Success was having a drawing that you could enter for a chance to challenge yourself against others to try and win a bunch of scrap goodies and a trophy! I was trying to get my friend Michelle R. to tryout for the contest and somehow she talked me into signing up for the raffle. Guess who's ticket number got called.....??? Bingo!

You were allowed to have a helper and they gave you a pile of random scrap stuff and just said to make something. Of course, Michelle was my helper and she was the best helper ever! She suggested adding the winning ticket to my page... super cute! Thanks, Michelle!

Long story short, by applause they picked the winner, so I called my friend Tiff who was also at CHA to come over and help cheer. Cheeeeerrrr she did, because I was the big Winner!!!

They gave special aprons and T shirt's to all of us in the contest and the winner was able to keep all of the scrap goodies that you had to work from and a super cute TROPHY... love the trophy!!! :)

CupCake Crop!!!

I'm finally posting my layout from the super fun Crop at The Table! Which we now refer to it as The Cupcake Crop because we had so much fun posing in the pictures with the cupcakes in our own little mock version of The OC House Wives! Lol

I just wanted to say thank you again to all the girls for coming out to the crop... you all made it so much FUN!!!

Fun Scrap Pages!

I have been in such a fun scrappin mode lately with little to no time to scrap. I finally found time to start creating this past week and I even managed to go crop at The Table last night. It's always so much fun scrappin at The Table and you always have a great group of girls to crop with:)

I was working on a little of everything from birthday, friends, hanging out at home, to Easter. The Table had so many super cute new papers and goodies to choose from, it sure made it easy to create!

Valentine Cards!

A few weeks ago I was working on decorating my tammy i carrying case with Hello Kitty and i had a bunch of scraps. So what did I do??? I made cards with my scraps instead of putting them away in a drawer never to be seen again. I learned this scrap tip from my friend Jennifer, she had this great idea posted on her blog.

2009 brings to mind, so many things that I want to do and accomplish this year.

Here's some of my things that are related to scrapbooking:

* Get close to current on my scrapbooking (lol)

* finish new scrap room

* Keep scrap room organized

* attempt to make a project for a class

* work on new carrying case design

* Use my Scarlet Lime kits

* back up all my pictures on CD and hard drive

* be more creative with my scrapbooking goodies

* go out and crop at least once a month

* stop reorganizing all my product (crazy, but I love doing this!)

* Use what I have

* Buy only scrap goodies that I'm in LOVE with!

I'm sure I could think of so much more, but that's it for now.

It's Easy To Make Animal Friendly Choices!

In the new year you can make a big difference by choosing animal friendly products. We as consumers tell the world what we do and do not like, by how we choose to spend our money.

I wanted to share this information with you, because I realized most people were not aware and once they were informed, were very eager to make changes.

Mars products chooses to do cruel decades old experiments on animals, even though they are not required by law. Mars is aware that there are now more reliable studies then experimenting on animals and chooses not to make changes.

Mars top competitor, Hershey's has pledged not to fund or conduct experiments on animals. Other major corporations including Coca-Cola, Pepsi Co, Ocean Spray, Welch's, and POM Wonderful- have also publicly ended animal test. Thank you!

One Can Make A Difference

I must share... this is a new book I got One Can Make a Difference by Ingrid Newkirk and it's wonderful! It's very inspiring, encouraging, and so much more. Little Monkey's 1st Christmas!

I've been tagged...

I was tagged by my friend Michelle R. to post the fourth picture in the fourth album on my computer. Here it is... my Andy! (Andy Garcia) I am so not a star crazy person at all, but when it comes to Andy Garcia I loose my mind... Love him! Lucky for me my husband is very ok with this whole crazy thing I have for Andy Garcia.

Not only is my husband ok with my Andy thing, he actually invited me to the set where they were filming with Andy for the day. (Hence the picture above of Andy on set)

Talk about me loosing my mind! I was able to watch everything all day on the set and sit at Andy's table at lunch. Crazy! At the end of the day my husband introduced me to Andy and took my picture with him. Loved it!!!

To my husband: I LOVE YOU, your the best ever, and thank you for my Andy day.

Question: when do i get an Andy week? lol

Cabo San Lucas...

I started scrapbooking this week some of the photos from our cruise. This was the first time we took our boys on a cruise and it was a little stress full at first. Then before you know it things stared to turn around and I actually started to relax a little.  I love spending time and going places with my boys, but I think having them on a cruise ship was just a little to much for me to worry about.  All in all we had a great time!

I Love Shabby Chic!

Home from vacation and it feels like I need a vacation. Lol  It's always nice to be home!

I was browsing the internet looking for ideas for decorating my new scrap room. I came across these great photos and I love most everything shabby chic and I thought I would share them with you.

Yo Gabba Gabba!

                    

      This Summer my boys were fortunate to work as extras on the second season of the Nickelodeon show Yo Gabba Gabba. My husband worked on the new season of Yo Gabba Gabba and our boys had an opportunity to make a little extra Summer money as extras on the show. The boys had a great time working with dad again and even got credits at the end of the show. The episode aired yesterday morning and it was a lot of fun seeing my boys on tv!

What A great Space This Would Be to Scrap In!

         I'm always on the look out for great ideas to use for my scrap room or other areas in my home. I loved this work space that I saw in a model home, they always have such great ideas on how to utilize extra small nooks of space.  Maybe from the picture this room looks spacious, but just know they did an incredible job of using every inch of this actually very small space. Love it!!!

Another Back To School Page!

       This is my other super sweet little guy Mogi (Jason) and this is his first day going to middle school. The bottom picture might look a little crazy, thats because I blurred the photo I don't want the school name showing. Sorry, for the blurry photo! I love the back ground paper and I got it at of course The Scrappin Table.

Back To School...

     This is one of my four layouts for the design team at The Table for the month of October.

My little guy (Binks) first day of school! 

      The little note paper wasn't filled in at the time of the picture. A little comment about that note paper, it's actually the inner packaging for some October Afternoon embellishments. I cut off the top with the brand name on it and presto an added embellishment.
